From The Product Bus comes The Bootstrap: Building Startups from Scratch – your weekly source of news and practical support for bootstrapping founders – or founders building their business with their own effort and funds and no external investors.
The Bootstrap unpacks strategies that any founder can apply to make smart, data-informed decisions as they navigate the early stages of building a startup. We focus on helping founders avoid the common pitfalls that stop many great ideas from becoming a reality.
Each episode, we start with one or two news items that bootstrapping founders need to know, and then host Scotty Allen (Founder of The Product Bus) is joined by a guest who brings their experience and subject matter to a specific topic with practical, actionable strategies that founders can take away and apply immediately to their own business.

Scotty combines his experience as a Product Manager in a number of successful software startups with his education and client learning background to help clients refine product value propositions, develop road maps and MVP plans, and develop Go To Market strategies for Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings and web-based learning products.
